O: How long have you been open now?
TWG: We opened the shop in Spring 2010.
O: Which neighborhood is your store located?
TWG: Our first store is located on the boarder of two neighbourhoods in Hamburg Eppendorf and Eimsbuettel. Our second store is located in the lobby of the 25hours Hotel in the very exciting neighbourhood of Hafencity.
O: Why did you choose this neighborhood?
TWG: Our neighhbourhood is very cosy. Many families live there. In our street we are part of a couple of small shops and cafes. We feel so happy to be part of this community.
O: How would you describe the scene in Hamburg?
TWG: In Hamburg more and more people chose to ride the bike rather then the car because they experience the many advantages: they are faster, they get their head free and parking space is a huge problem.
Besides commuting, family bikes are very popular. Every morning you see young mothers bringing their children to the kindergarten and afterwards they go shopping.
Also we experience that people want to get active and put focus on cyclists: in the summer the Critical Mass rides were joined by hundreds of cyclists. That is fantastic.
